Poll – ClassicPress Adoption Cycle

Posted by

Hi, it’s poll time!

As a ClassicPress contributor, I am helping out in defining a marketing line to reach developers, users, and contributors in a more effective way.

ClassicPress was born on the need to avoid Gutenberg editor, or better, to avoid it being forced on people. In fact, this WordPress 4.9.x fork is more about giving control to its users on the CMS features, than solely avoiding Gutenberg experience. Also, its community was shaped around the concept of inclusion and respect, whereas WordPress community was communicating harshly towards the people who were expressing concerns about Gutenberg adoption.

After the release of ClassicPress road map, it got evident ClassicPress can’t market itself just as “WordPress without Gutenberg”, for V. 2 is all about having core plugins taking user control over certain features to a deeper level, with a security-first approach and a focus on the needs of professionals.

For this reason, I need you to answer this first poll aimed at devs, You won’t win prizes, however, I am going to be forever grateful if you kindly fill it in.
